1. Species: Domestic Dog
2. Name: Indomitable "Indy"
3. Size: 18"
4. Weight: 35 lbs.
5. Age: 4 years
6. Gender: Female
7. Personality
Indy is, just as her name indicates, indomitable. As were both of her parents before her, she is a tough dog full of vigor and vitality that never backs down from a task or a fight, regardless of how daunting. Her slender little body and feminine frame do not seem to hinder her at all from working long days and even into the night when required. She is loyal to the ranch hands, but has little patience for their children. She rarely chooses to approach strangers, and will take her time getting to know a new person. Dogs are just that to her, dogs. They are not playmates or friends, and the competent few can be considered partners. But the rest, the rest are just dogs. Indy doesn't consider herself a dog- she sees herself as a tool, a necessity, something to be abused by the humans at their whim and worked into the ground. As this is what she is, she does not hold grudges against her two-legged owners, and will perform any task without question, any blow she acquires considered deserved and well placed. However, she also considers herself a damn good tool, and as such, does not readily take orders from just any human and will tolerate no disrespect from any dog.
Her herding style is aggressive and fast, though she learned quick not to actually bite her quarry. She is proficient in most herding situations, and also knows how to back and block sheep, excelling at driving the flocks over large distances. She fights in much the same way she herds, directly and with an immense amount of speed and ferocity. She never tires and never backs down.
As for the wild canines, she sees them as vicious beasts, a creature to be feared and avoided at all costs. She has seen the way the rancher looks at the flocks they decimate with sadness and disgust, and has also seen the innards of her sheep strewn across the fields for the pleasure of those accursed beasts. Let the guard dogs deal with such creatures, though Indy wouldn't necessarily pass up a chance to take one on if it were just the two of them!

9.History
Indy was born and raised at Skyline, the product of mutt after mutt breeding to form one final, exquisite mongrel. She was born to a litter of 14, and unsurprisingly, 5 of her siblings died. There just wasn't enough milk to go around. Indy was pulled from the litter along with 2 of her brothers to be bottle fed in an effort to save some of the pups. Raised under the rough hands of the ranch workers, she was on her own from a young age and learned hard work was the only way to avoid going to sleep hungry. She outperformed many of her siblings, becoming quite the expert working sheep over large distances with tireless devotion . She's taken hooves to the face, been trampled underfoot, and can jump up on a saddle with ease.
Raised by humans, Indy lacks a lot of the social graces that puppies learn from their siblings and parents. Her fear of strangers and her quick temper have been attributed to this rough start. She is an exquisite worker, one of Skyline's best, but her lack of interest in socialization leaves her lacking in the leadership ability. It's been mentioned that she may have potential as a cattle dog, and Skyline Ranch is considering a trade with Long Mountain for one of their meat cows.
