1. Alaskan Husky x unknown
2. Rocket
3. 22"
4. 100 lb.
5. 4 years old
6. Male
7. Rocket is a friendly guy and almost never starts a fight unless its protecting someone he knows and or loves. A puppy lover. Always being friendly to females, pregnant females and puppies. Males, he dislikes any male he mets unless its a friend. Rocket is very sly and tricky, can out smart most dogs and people. Agressive towards livestock such as sheep, cows, and goats. Same thing with wild animals such as coyote, deer, wolves and others. He is brave and sometimes stays up during nights protecting the ranch. He has a good temperment and is a good dog. Rocket hates strays the only good stray is either a female or a dead stray. He craves raw beef and doesn't like dog food. He almost never is in a bad mood or sad, if he is he keeps it to himself. Rocket has a need to roam and he gets cranky if he doesn't. He hates males that have come looking for a so called mate but he shows them whos boss. His good natured-agression makes him highly unpredictable most of the time. He is a sucker for those border collies, australian shepherds and golden retrievers, he just crumbles and tries to get them to like him.
8. One of his eyes is a light sky blue and the other is a chocolate brown. His ears go straight up bulky at the top that ends in a rounded tip. The back of his ears are red with the right one being lighter then the left. His front legs are mostly white with some red at the top and near his elbow. His build is mostly of his Alaskan Husky mother but with some hints of two other breeds that his father might have been. He has the muscle pulled into his slender frame. His hind legs have more red on them then the his front legs but they do have white on them. His fur is a rich red almost mahogny. His tail is bushy but at the tip of it is black.
9. Rocket's mother was a purebred Alaskan Husky, a simple house pet in the home of Skyline Ranch. His father, an unknown herding breed that worked on the ranch. One day his father, Rex, got kicked by a cow and had to retire. His leg was broken and he could never work again because of the damage. Once at the house his heart soared once he saw the Alaskan Husky, Molly. Molly soon found a soft spot for the herding dog and soon they mated. Ten weeks later she went into labor, Rex was by her side, she had three healthy puppies. A beautiful black, white and tan female, a dark black and white male, and the final puppy was a red and white male with a black tail tip. A week went by and Molly was a great mother, Rex was the lazy father that sometimes played with his puppies. Three weeks went by and the helpess puppies were now play balls of fur. They were named that week, the female was Dallas, the dark black and white male was Solar and the red and white male, Rocket. Rex was a tad better and one day took his puppies out to see there first livestock. They arrived at the corral to see a flock of fifty sheep. Molly didn't like it so she grabbed the puppies and brang them back inside. Soon they were a year old and a little smaller then there mother. Rex got a tumor which turned out to be cancer, he died a month after they turned one and Molly is still going strong at the age of seven.
