Personality
Raine is a shy dog. She won't speak to you unless you speak to her. When she does talk though, she is quiet and sounds almost scared. She really is a very timid dog. She has no sense of violence, or any anger that anyone could sense. You would never know if she has some anger bottled up inside that she's too scared to let out. The thought would never cross your mind.
When it all comes down to friends, Raine is a loyal companion and she treats everyone equally. She has honestly never made a single insult to anyone, and probably never will. She has few friends due to her quiet ways, and doesn't make friends very easily, but for those who do become her friend, she will try her best to protect them, even if she doesn't do a good job.
She enjoys listening to stories, especially from older dogs, that can tell the very interesting stories about the past before she was born. She loves the history of Oregon and deeply enjoys hearing about it, especially trains. Trains interest her most. Though she has been on one before, she still has many questions about them, they are very intriguing to her.
Appearance
Raine is composed of a light cream color, with several cinnamon spots. Her legs have "socks" of spots, and her face is also spotted in cinnamon, and her back is mainly dark cinnamon, with a few little breaks of cream, that look as if a painter splattered a little too much paint on her back. Her nose is big and black, and her eyes have a natural black eyeliner that make her look like an egyptian.
Her eyes are a beautiful golden/brown color the shade of honey and cinnamon mixed together.
Her ears are big and set high on her head. They are lined in the same shade of black as her eyes. The back of her ears are the same cinnamon as her spots that fade into black two inches from the tip. Below, her ears are a medium brown, the shade of a violins soft wood.
She has no tail at all, leaving her bottom bare.
History
Raine was born in North Dakota into a small cattle ranch. The humans who owned the ranch, tried to teach her to herd cattle, but she was too shy and gentle to herd the big steers, and the cattle knew she was too scared of them to herd them and would charge her all the way back to the barn, tail tucked and flying into the nearest open stall. The owners tried and tried to get her to herd them, but always without success, so they sold her to a small sheep farmer in Oregon.
On the sheep farmer's farm she worked diligently and loyally. The human who's name was John treated her kindly, and she slept in his house with his other dog Bean. Bean was a mutt, but a good sheep herder too, but Bean never learned to like Raine. One lonely, dark night, a pack of coyotes attacked the sheep, killing all but two. John was in horrible dept after that. He had to give up the farm, sheep, house, and his two beloved dogs. He sold bean to a cattle ranch in Nevada, and Raine to Skyline Ranch. That day she was sent there by locomotive. On arrival she was sent to work and obediently obeyed all commands given to her.
